Appointment Scheduling

Rubicon's appointment module allows for: Patient lookup from the appointment screen. Search for available time slots. View patient's past appointment history. Alerts you when necessary to gather more information such as address, insurance information, past due accounts. Recall capabilities.

Claims Processing

We maintain patient, physician credentials, insurance and referral databases for our clients. Our specialized software processes the bills based on payor plan rules, current procedural technology, and applicable provider fee schedules. Our software edits the bill to ensure accuracy based on predetermined rules. Claims Editing

A claims screening system uses edits and error checking techniques to assure that the claim has the correct information before it is transmitted for payment. Therefore claims held up due to keying errors are significantly reduced. This shortens the time it takes for our clients to receive their money.

On-line Access

Rubicon provides on-line access to selected payors. This capability affords the front desk staff the ability to obtain information regarding: Claims Status Patient Eligibility Benefit Plan Pre-certification Requirements Pre-treatment Requirements Immediate determination of eligibility at the front desk eliminates inappropriate treatment of ineligible individuals and speeds up the treatment of those who are eligible. Proper and timely collection of this data will reduce errors that delay payments.

Reports

The Rubicon system allows the client access to their reports and provides the client with the ability to print whatever information they need. These reports are stored on our server for access from anywhere via the Internet. This capability reduces the amount of reports that the client has to print and store in their offices. The ability to archive these reports electronically frees up valuable office space. Some of the reports available on-line include: Demographic Breakdown and Census by Group, Physician, and Payor Accounts Receivable Aging by Service Date Diagnosis Analysis by Payor and Physician Allowable Analysis by Payor and Procedure Top Payor Report Services Performed by Procedure New reports are constantly being added.
